It was a night of roaring engines, flying mud-bits, youthful ambition, and seasoned grit as the 2025-26 indoor racing season kicked off at Puyallup Flat Track Season Opener inside the Washington State Fairgrounds in Puyallup, WA. The vibe at the Fairgrounds was electric. The Green Gate opened at 4:00 pm, with racing scheduled from 4 pm to 10 pm. Puyallup Flat Track, now entering their 7th year of running indoor flat track at Puyallup, were clearly dialled in with a new track layout creating ideal racing conditions. Track prep was crisp, the clay mix looked good under lights, and the pit area had a busy, happy hum of community. The atmosphere makes for a wonderful place for specators and racers alike.
