The leaves are turning, the fair is a distant memory, and Arena G is about to get loud. Puyallup Flat Track kicks off its indoor racing series on Saturday, October 17, and the Pacific Northwest’s best winter racing is back.

Racing Under One Roof
Flat track is simple to love. Riders pitch their bikes sideways into the corners, throttles pinned and boots skimming the dirt, with only inches between competitors. Indoors, that action sits right in front of you. The oval is tight, the noise bounces off the rafters, and there’s no bad seat. You can feel the roost when a pack comes off turn four.
This season opener has extra energy. Fresh off the 2026 season finale, which featured some tight championship battles, especially among the youth classes, riders are coming in hungry. Opening night is when new points battles start, new faces show up on the entry list, and last year’s rivalries pick up again.
Racing for Every Age and Skill Level
One thing that sets Puyallup Flat Track apart is how welcoming it is. The program offers motorcycle and quad racing for all ages. The youngest racers start out in the Strider and Stacyc classes, learning the sport. Then come the bigger bikes and the more experienced riders. A kid might cheer for their favorite racer in the main event and be in the same pits the following year. That pipeline from beginner to podium is a big part of what makes the community here special.
