Gagne Unstoppable in Round 6

Looking to get back to his winning ways in 2021 Yamaha rider Jake Gagne #1 was out of reach for the rest of the pack in the MotoAmerica round 6 at the Ridge Motorsports Park.

Gagne has struggled a bit this season as he’s been searching for his championship form from last year. Coming into round 6 Gagne felt comfortable the blitzing through practice and qualifying. He would eventually lay down the fastest lap ever at the Ridge. Throughout the weekend the rest of the pack didn’t have an answer for Gagne.

Behind Gagne his teammate Cameron Petersen #45 and Ducati rider Danilo Petrucci #9 battled throughout the 16 lap race. Petersen did his best to hold of Petrucci, but halfway through the race Petersen was overcome by the challenge of Petrucci. They would remain in 2nd and 3rd respectively rounding out the podium.

Local rider Andy Debrino unfortunately did not finish the race. However, local rider Kevin Pinkstaff #91 was able to put in a solid performance to round out his MotoAmerica experience.
