On day two at MotoAmerica in Shelton, WA at the Ridge Motorsports Park the race schedule flipped moving the Stock 1000 Race 2 as the opener for fans.

At the start of the race local rider Andy DiBrino #62 jumped to the early lead pushing the race through lap 1. The pace from the top 4 riders continued to press Dibrino where rider Corey Alexander #23 was able to grab the lead. The BMW rider would finish out the race with the win and a sweep in Round 6 races.

Suzuki Rider Hayden Gillim put forth a solid effort with time spent in the top 3, but was unable to break through and hold of charges by Dibrino and Wyman. Dibrino continued to fight for a position on the podium as rider Travis Wyman #10 was able to overcome Dibrino to secure a second place finish.

Race 2 had a small hiccup with a red flag halfway through the 13 lap race. After the restart riders were given a sprit start and 5 lap finish to the checkered flag. At the end of the day Round 6 saw solid performances and tight battles. We’ll see how the grid changes as riders head to the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, CA for Round 7
