Round 4 at Puyallup Flat Track brought indoor motorcycle and quad racing back to the Washington State Fairgrounds in Arena G, marking the first race of the new year. Riders and fans packed the venue for an evening of high-speed action and close competition across all classes.

The first race of 2026 delivered everything the Puyallup Flat Track community has come to expect: tight racing, impressive performances from riders of all ages, and an atmosphere that keeps fans on their feet. From the youngest competitors on Striders and Stacyc to experienced racers battling in the premier classes, Round 4 set a strong tone for the season ahead.

The track was dialed in from the first drop of the green flag, and riders wasted no time getting after it. Heat races ran throughout the evening, showcasing the depth of talent that makes Puyallup Flat Track one of the premier indoor racing venues in the Pacific Northwest.

The youth classes once again proved why they’re such a fan favorite. Kids on PW50s, KTM 50s, and entry-level bikes navigated the indoor oval with speed and confidence. The beginner Strider and Stacyc classes continue to grow, giving the youngest racers their first taste of competition in a supportive, family-friendly environment.

Mid-level classes featured some of the closest racing of the night, with riders going bar-to-bar through the turns and drag racing to the finish line. The progression of talent across age groups shows the strength of the Puyallup racing community and the commitment families have to the sport.
The premier adult classes brought the speed and aggression fans came to see. Experienced riders pushed their machines to the limit, carving perfect lines and executing precise passes. Every main event delivered battles worth the price of admission.

The next round of racing is scheduled for later this month, with Round 5, January 17 and Round 6, January 24. The Washington State Fairgrounds continues to provide the perfect venue for family-friendly motorsports that brings the community together.
Mad Dog Promotions, now in their sixth year operating indoor flat track racing at the fairgrounds, has once again delivered a professional event that showcases the best of Pacific Northwest motorcycle racing. The organization’s commitment to providing opportunities for riders of all ages and skill levels keeps the sport growing and accessible.

Puyallup Flat Track races continue throughout the winter and early spring at Arena G at the Washington State Fairgrounds. Gates open at 4 pm with racing from 4 pm to 10 pm on race days.
For racers interested in competing, the track offers classes for all ages from beginner Striders to expert-level racing. Early practice sessions are available on race days for riders to dial in their setup and learn the track.
